(1767 Dresden - Breslau 1818). "Gegenden von Gamig". Sechs kleine sächsische Landschaften aus dem Grunde bei Gamig und Dohna. 6 Blatt Aquatintaradierungen in Braun, mit gestochenem Titel- und Widmungsblatt, auf festem cremefarbenem Velin, je ca. 13,4:17 cm. Dresden, 1803. Pappband d. Zt. (Rücken mit modernem Leinenstreifen überklebt, etwas fleckig und berieben, beide Deckel mit Sporflecken) mit Bordüre und Eckfleurons sowie allseitigem Goldschnitt. Literatur: Nagler 15. Die Darstellungen sind wie folgt betitelt: "Gamig gegen Abend.", "Aus dem Garten.", "Der kleine Teich. II.", "Vom alten Gamig.", "Der kleine Teich. I.", "Die Grotte." Wizani, Sohn des Gärtners C. Wizani, war 1783/84 Schüler an der Akademie bei Chr.G. Mietzsch (1742-1799) und C. Toscani,(1742-1815) anschließend 1785-1789 bei G. Canale (1725-1803) und seit 1792 bei A. Zingg (1734-1816). Er stach u.a. nach seinem Bruder J.F. Wizani (1770-1835), nach Chr.W.E. Dietrich (1712-1774), J.Chr. Klengel (1751-1824) und J.Ph. Veith (1768-1837) sowie nach Meisterwerken in der Dresdener Galerie, außerdem zahlreiche sächsische Landschaften nach eigenen Entwürfen. 1792-1803 arbeitete er als Zeichenlehrer am Dresdner Freimaurerinstitut, ging 1812 nach Breslau, wo er 1817 Sammlungsrestaurator wurde. Das Rittergut Gamig liegt im Süden von Dresden in der Nähe von Dohna und hat seit seiner ersten urkundlichen Erwähnung 1411 bis heute eine wechselvolle Geschichte hinter sich.

The results of the auction are published within a few days after the end of the auction. In the top menu of the site, find the tab "Auctions". After opening it, select the desired auction from the list, enter and view the current status of the interested lot.
The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
