SMALL WOODEN CABINET WITH EXOTIC ANIMAL DEPICTIONS AND GALLANT FIGURES.

Presumably Augsburg.
Date: Ca. 1700.
Technique: Softwood and ebonised fruitwood. Mirror glass, metal, partly polychromed. The inside of the drawers lined with marbled paper.
Description: Rectangular body with two hinged doors. One hinged carrying handle at the top. Seven
drawers of different sizes inside, with a double note drawer at the top and bottom. Gilt
framed mirrors on the fronts. With polychromous depictions of animals such as a unicorn or
camel or gallant figures such as a shepherdess on the central drawer.
Measurement: 20x19x12,5cm.
Enclosed: Key complemented.
