SN 1053916. Die linke Abdeckung mit Zeiss-Logo unter Adler/"M", die rechte gemarkt "DF8x60" über Seriennummer. Beidseitige Okularverstellung gängig. Die Gummiaugenmuscheln fehlen, nur noch die Schraubringe (Messing) vorhanden. Strichplattenbeleuchtung rechts. Die originale Lackierung mit Gebrauchsspuren. Klemmschraube. Ausziehbare Sonnenblenden. Gewicht 4,6 kg. Durchsicht 1-. Produktionsdatum um 1918/1919.
Dieses Weitwinkel-Modell wurde 1918 entwickelt für die Fliegerabwehr und die Marine. Aufgrund seines Gewichts ist es nur mit Stativ oder fest montiert verwendbar, und kam auch noch im 2. WK zum Einsatz.

From the rubber eyecups only the brass attachment rings remaining. Graticule illumination on the right side. Original black paint finish with signs of wear. Extendable sun shades. Clamping screw. Weight 4,6 kg. Transparency 1-. Production date ca. 1918/1919.
These heavy wide-angle binoculars were developed at the end of WW I for naval use and anti-aircraft artillery. Some models remained in service even during WW II.
