Szene im Swimming Pool des Holiday Inn in Fort Wayne mit den Mitgliedern der Rockband "Queen" - Freddy Mercury, Roger Taylor und Brian May zusammen mit zwei Groupies sowie den befreundeten Zeljko Lah und Willy Greenwood. Das heitere, leuchtend farbige, von David Hockney inspirierte Gemälde ist eine Remineszenz und eine Hommage an ein Stück Pop- und Zeitgeschichte. Lah und der befreundete Greenwood kannten "Queen" seit Anfang der 1970er Jahre, als sie Boutiquen für Avantgarde-Mode im selben Gebäude in Kensington Garden London betrieben, in der bekannte Musiker kauften. Taylor arbeitete in Greenwods Geschäft, Mercury verkaufte nebenan Second-Hand-Kleidung. Hierdurch ergab sich eine intensive Freundschaft vor den ersten Erfolgen von "Queen" ab 1973/74. Mit ihrer "Sheer Heart Attack"-Tour hatte die Band Auftritte in Großbritannien, Europa und den USA. Anfang 1975 bereisten auch Lah und Greenwood die USA - Taylor lud sie zum Konzert in Fort Wayne (10.03.1975) und in das Hotel der Band ein. Öl bzw. The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments.
