Schmuckurkunde, ausgestellt den 28. Febr. 1941, Original Unterschrift Kap.z.S. (Gruppe II "Drontheim"), dazu Foto sowie Soldbuch Einlegeblatt mit allen ihm verliehenen Auszeichnungen vom 1. Juni 1945, OU.
Neben dem Zerstörer Kriegsabzeichen wurden ihm das EK1 und EK2, Verwundetenabzeichen in Schwarz sowie die U-Boot-Frontspange und das U-Boot-Kriegsabzeichen verliehen.
Der Zerstörer Z22 Anton Schmitt war der letzte vor Kriegsbeginn fertiggestellt Zerstörer, der zuerst bei der Verlegung von Minen später dann beim Unternehmen Weserübung Verwendung gefunden hatte. In der Nacht vom 9. auf den 10. April - während der Schlacht um Narvik - wurde der Zerstörer von zwei Torpedos getroffen und brach in der Folge auseinander. Er sank auf der Position 68° 26′ 4″ N, 17° 22′ 40″ - insgesamt fanden 52 Mann Besatzung hierbei den Tod.

The results of the auction are published within a few days after the end of the auction. In the top menu of the site, find the tab "Auctions". Click on it and you will be on the auction catalog page, where you can easily find the category "Results". After opening it, select the desired auction from the list, enter and view the current status of the interested lot.
The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
