ZHONG HAN (1929-2023) - China, 1980s - Ferrymen at the Yellow River. Oil on cardboard(?), framed under glass in a passe-partout. Possibly signed on the reverse (original frame unopened). - From an old German private collection, acquired from the exhibition "Zhong Han Chinese Landscapes Calligraphy" in Das Fachwerk-Künstler in Bad Salzuflen e. V., 19.01.-03.02.1985. Exhibition flyer signed by the artist is available - Good conditionZhong Han (1929-2023) was born in Pingxiang, Jiangxi Province. He studied architecture at Qinghua University from 1946 to 1948. In 1955, he entered the Oil Painting Department of the Central Art Academy and after his graduation in 1959, he joined the teaching faculty of the Academy. In 1980, he went to the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp, Belgium, for advanced studies. He became a visiting scholar at Ghent University in 1984, and an academician of the Royal Academy of Arts in Belgium in 1993. Zhong was specialized in oil paintings on the theme of the Chinese revolution and history, especially in relationship with the Yellow River

The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments.
