Silber, vergoldet, Emaille, Schmucksteine. H. 59,5 cm, 2476 g (Ges.-Gew.). Sechspassiger Fuß mit gravierten Evangelisten-Darstellungen. Schaft und gedrückter Kugelnodus verziert mit emailliertem Maßwerk, Farbsteinen und Floraldekor. Hexagonale Galerie, die runde Kuppa tragend und mit umlaufender Inschrift 'Ecce Panis Angelorum Factus Cibus Viatorum' versehen. Architektonisch gestalteter Deckel mit Wimpergen, Maßwerk und Turmbekrönung in Form eines gotischen Kirchenturms. Aufgrung der Tatsache, dass das Ziborium aus einer Rheinischen Privatsammlung stammt, der herausragenden Qualität des Objektes sowie stillistischer Merkmale, die charakteristisch für das Eouvre des Künstlers sind, erscheint die Zuschreibung an C. A. Beumers nahliegend. Vergoldung min. berieben.
1859 gründet C.A. Beumers seine Firma in Düsseldorf, nachdem er seine Gold- und Silberschmied-Lehre, wahrscheinlich in Erkelenz oder Aachen, abgeschlossen hatte. Die schnell florierende Goldschmiede-Werkstatt spezialisiert sich besonders auf sakrale Geräte für katholische Kirchen im Rheinland, den Niederlanden, aber auch in Übersee. 1903 gelingt seiner Firma der Aufstieg zum Hoflieferanten und wird ab 1913 sogar zum kaiserlichen Hofjuwelier berufen. Die Blütezeit der Firma endet mit dem Ausbruch des ersten Weltkrieges. So entschließt man sich 1928 zu Geschäftsaufgabe. Das Geschäftshaus auf der Königsallee 88 wird während des zweiten Weltkriegs vollständig zerstört.

The results of the auction are published within a few days after the end of the auction. In the top menu of the site, find the tab "Auctions". Click on it and you will be on the auction catalog page, where you can easily find the category "Results". After opening it, select the desired auction from the list, enter and view the current status of the interested lot.
The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. In the near future you will find detailed information for each case in the section "Auction information" on the page of the auction catalog and the lot.
Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
