Small Bronze plate with a two-line inscription NAS/XXI. Dimensions 3 x 2.55 cm. NAS is probably one of the Tria nomina abbreviation. And the Fragment of an elongated, framed in silver plate, on which the letters IOV are easy to see. Letter height is 1.3 cm. To the right of the V that would still fit the remains probably of Plumage, by the Notitia Dignitatum traditional field characters of the Ioviani seniores. Therefore, a Supplement is close to Ioviani, i.e., to one of the guard troops under the Emperor Diocletian (284 - 305). Silver with traces of lighter green corrosion. Dimensions 3.9 x 3.3 cm. Extremely rare! Provenance: From a in the South of Germany retained private collection. Purchased in the 1970s to the 1980s, the art market and German private collections. Condition: II - III
