Italien, Neapel, Attilio de Luca (tätig: letztes Drittel 20. Jahrhundert), nach 1968
Silber, Marmor. Höhe 30 cm / 33,5 cm. Punziert mit Garantiemarke, Feingehalt '800', Juweliermarke 'DELMAR'. Am Bein signiert 'A. de Luca'. Nach den Vorbildern der sogenannten 'centauro vecchio' und 'centauro goivane', die heute in den Kapitolinischen Museen aufbewahrt werden. Die originalen Marmorskulpturen, signiert
von Aristeas und Papias, wurden während der Regierungszeit Hadrians (117-138 n. Chr) aus grauem Morato-Marmor (Lapis Niger) geschaffen und befanden sich einst in der Villa des Hadrian in Tivoli. Min. Oberflächenkratzer.
