Ein gewölbter Messingschild M 1830 mit versilbertem Emblem in Form des gallischen Hahns auf Fahnentrophäen, zugehörige Befestigungsknöpfe. Dazu ein Messing-Ringkragen für Offiziere der Garde Nationale des 2. Kaiserreichs mit versilberter Auflage in Form des Adlers auf Donnerkeil, ohne Krone. Partiell leicht beschädigt, Trage- und Altersspuren. Länge je 14 cm.
A cuirass for enlisted men of the Carabiniers de la Garde, circa 1830
Iron cuirass plated with non-ferrous metal, without lining. The breastplate with screw-mounted gilt eagle emblem on an iron aureola. The backplate with leather-backed chain straps and smooth buckles (leather straps torn). The lower edge of the breastplate with maker’s mark "Manuf re R. de Klingenthal Avril 1833 / 2T 1L No. 442", at the bottom of the back etching "Manuf re R ale de Klingenthal Sep bre 1827 / 264". Original belt (torn). Small dents, traces of rust, cracks,
partly damaged, traces of age. Rare ensemble of a special guard regiment.
