TWO PAINTINGS ON COTTON DEPICTING BUDDHIST SCENES - Thailand, 19th/20th c. - The larger painting depicting Gautama Siddharta, the future Buddha, flying his palace on horseback supported by four celestial beings, flanked by several attendants including one holding parasol above the future Buddha and all placed in the walled palace terrace; and a painting depicting Buddha Shakyamuni seated in front of a pavilion receiving an offering extended by an ascetic, two female worshippers behind, the scene is placed in a mountainous landscape with a dancing monkey and other animals. - From an important private collection in northern Germany, collected mainly in India from the early 1950s to the 1980s - Wear, minor damages due to age

Das größere Gemälde stellt Gautama Siddharta, den zukünftigen Buddha, dar, wie er seinen Palast auf einem Pferd fliegt, unterstützt von vier himmlischen Wesen, flankiert von mehreren Dienern, von denen einer einen Sonnenschirm über dem zukünftigen Buddha hält, und alle in der ummauerten Palastterrasse platziert sind; und ein Gemälde, das Buddha Shakyamuni vor einem Pavillon sitzend darstellt, wie er eine von einem Asketen ausgebreitete Opfergabe entgegennimmt, zwei weibliche Verehrerinnen dahinter, die Szene ist in einer bergigen Landschaft mit einem tanzenden Affen und anderen Tieren platziert.

The results of the auction are published within a few days after the end of the auction. In the top menu of the site, find the tab "Auctions". After opening it, select the desired auction from the list, enter and view the current status of the interested lot.
The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
