Zwei spätarchaische bronzene Henkelattaschen, Griechenland, um 500 vor Christus
Bronzene Henkelattaschen wohl einer Hydria mit faszettiertem horizontalen Griff und oben runden, unten spitzen Attaschen. Unterhalb der Henkelansätze jeweils ein stilisierter bärtiger Silenskopf. Sehr guter Erhaltungszustand mit ausgezeichneter Patina. Breite 13,5 cm. Höhe der Attaschen 12 cm.

Provenienz: Aus westdeutscher Privatsammlung, erworben auf dem Kunstmarkt vor 1980.

Two late archaic Greek handles, bronze, circa 500 B.C.
Two bronze handles probably of a hydria with a facetted horizontal handle. On each attachment a stylized bearded head of a Silenos. Very good condition with excellent patina. Width 13.5 cm. Height of the attachments 12 cm.

Provenance: From a West German private collection, acquired on the art market before 1980.

Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
