TWO QURQUOISE GROUND FAMILLE ROSE ROSEWATER DISHES
China, Qing Dynasty Porcelain. D. 32.5 - 37.2 cm. Both dishes are molded and scalloped in flowerhead shape, painted in the center with quail pecking beside rose bushes, surrounded by leaf, finger citron, peach and pomegranate panels on the turquoise 'cracked ice' ground. With traces of use, partially damaged and abraded.

Beide Schalen sind in Form vom Blütenkopf, in der Mitte mit Wachtelpicken neben Rosenbüschen in Reserve bemalt, umgeben von anderen vier Reserven in Form von einem Blatt, einer Fingerzitrone, einem Pfirsich und einem Granatapfel, auf dem türkisfarbenen Grund dekoriert mit geborstenem Eis und Pflaumenblüten.
