Bobo Piccoli

Bobo Piccoli, real name Augusto Piccoli, is an Italian artist born in Milan in 1927 to an intellectual family, his father Valentino, a philosophy graduate, was a journalist and writer, and his mother Pia Addoli was an Italian teacher and writer. Their home in Milan was frequented by intellectuals and artists, including Mario Sironi, Carlo Carra, Giuseppe Ungaretti, Salvatore Quasimodo, Giovanni Papini, Clemente Rebora, Ada Negri, Francesco Flora, director Alberto Lattuada and composer Giulio Confalonieri.
