Memo Vagaggini

Nicodemo / Memo Vagaggini (it. Nicodemo / Memo Vagaggini) is an Italian landscape painter, illustrator and photographer. Participated in the Venice Biennale, in four Rome quadrennials (1935, 1939, 1943 and 1948) and exhibitions of the Pittsburgh Carnaga Prize. He illustrated plays (Lamartine, Shakespeare) and children's books (The Jungle Book) for the Milanese publisher Corticelli. Despite the fact that he lived and worked in Florence for a long time, Vagagini always remained attached to the territory of Santa Fiora, Monte Amiata and the Maremma, painting its beauties.
