Participated in the Venice Biennale, in four Rome quadrennials (1935, 1939, 1943 and 1948) and exhibitions of the Pittsburgh Carnaga Prize. He illustrated plays (Lamartine, Shakespeare) and children's books (The Jungle Book) for the Milanese publisher Corticelli.
