Nicolas François Bocquet was a French painter active between 1680 and 1717.

For most of his life, Bocquet worked in Rome, where he was associated with the Académie Française, established there in 1666 as a branch of the Royal Academy of Painting and Sculpture in Paris. Nicolas Bocquet is known for creating an album of illustrations of the peoples of Rome and their costumes.
