Paul Staiger

Paul Staiger is an American contemporary painter and important representative of Photorealism. Paul Staiger is known for his hyper-realistic acrylic paintings of American houses (e.g. celebrity residences), street scenes, cars and airplanes. Staiger had his first solo exhibitions in 1969 and 1971 at the Michael Walls Gallery in San Francisco. Paul Staiger took part in Documenta 5 in Kassel in 1972 with some of his paintings. To this day he has exhibitions in major museums and galleries around the world. His paintings are included in the collection of the Museum of Modern Art in New York City, among others.
