Rosa Petzel
Rosa Petzel was a German painter and writer who published under the pseudonyms Gotthilf Rosen and Martin Claudius. She received her first art lessons from her father, a pastor, and later trained with renowned painters such as Julius Schrader and Oscar Begas. Petzel worked as a portrait painter in Berlin and was a founding member of the Verein der Künstlerinnen und Kunstfreundinnen, a women's organization for artists. She later moved to Loschwitz with her sisters.
