Galina Andreyevna Sokolova (Russian: Галина Андреевна Соколова) was a Soviet artist of the second half of the twentieth and early twenty-first centuries. She is known as a painter, a representative of the Leningrad school.
Galina Sokolova painted genre paintings, landscapes and still lifes. She was especially famous for still lifes with flowers and fruits. The artist began exhibiting her works in 1949 and in 1952 became a member of the Leningrad Union of Artists. For many years she worked at the Leningrad Combinat of Pictorial and Decorative Art.
Her works are in museums and private collections in Russia, France, USA, UK and other countries.
