Vasily Alekseyevich Serebryakov (Russian: Василий Алексеевич Серебряков) was a Russian artist of the second half of the 19th century. He is known as a painter and graphic artist.
At the beginning of his career, Vasily Serebryakov was engaged in copying works of old Italian masters in Italy by order of Emperor Nicholas I. Having returned to Russia, he worked mainly in the field of monumental, church and portrait painting. His creative heritage also includes works of mythological genre, still lifes.
