Katharina Grosse is a German artist. As an artist, Grosse's work employs a use of architecture, sculpture and painting. She is known for her large-scale, site-related installations to create immersive visual experiences. She has been using an industrial paint-sprayer to apply prismatic swaths of color to a variety of surfaces since the late 1990s, and often uses bright, unmixed sprayed-on acrylic paints to create both large-scale sculptural elements and smaller wall works.

Мне нравится сочетать несочетаемое: бурную экспрессию и деликатную поэтичность. Цель- выражение колористической и графической идеи «красоты яви». Видеть по-своему, и показать зрителю это волшебство через виртуозную эстетику живописи.

Рисование и создание работ были со мной в трудные моменты, в процессе я находила утешение или помощь, картины стали для меня собеседником, где-то другом. Практика членов команды SOCIA - Артура и Игоря Спасских - направлена на определение баланса между рисунком, музыкой и ее представлением в пространстве галереи. В своих музыкально-перформативных видео они инициируют процесс материализации звука, доводя его до графической формы. В этой практике тела художников служат проводниками в цепи звук – ухо – тело – рука – брызги (кисть) – поверхность. Баланс танцевальной пластики в сочетании со специально подобранной или составленной музыкой превращается в картины на поверхности.
