Werner Mathias Goeritz Brunner was a Mexican painter and sculptor of German origin. After spending much of the 1940s in North Africa and Spain, he and his wife, photographer Marianne Gast, immigrated to Mexico in 1949.
In 1953 he first presented his "Manifiesto de la Arquitectura Emocional" (Emotional Architecture Manifesto) at the pre-inauguration of the Museo Experimental El Eco in Mexico City, which he designed in 1952-53. During the 1950s, Goeritz also collaborated with Luis Barragán to make monumental abstract sculptures in reinforced concrete, including El animal del Pedregal (The Animal of the Pedregal, 1951) and the Torres de la Ciudad Satélite (Towers of Satellite City, 1957).

Claude Lalanne is a French artist, sculptor and ceramicist known for her chimerical sculptures. Since the 1960s, she has worked as a couple with her husband François-Xavier Lalanne.
Peter Thomas Blake is an English pop artist. He co-created the sleeve design for the Beatles' album Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band. His other works include the covers for two of The Who's albums, the cover of the Band Aid single "Do They Know It's Christmas?", and the Live Aid concert poster. Blake also designed the 2012 Brit Award statuette.

Yves Klein was a French artist, renowned for his innovative use of pure color and his approach to the conceptual aspects of monochrome painting. Klein, born in 1928 in Nice, France, left an indelible mark on the art world despite his brief career, which ended with his untimely death in 1962.
Klein is best known for his invention of International Klein Blue (IKB), a deep blue hue which he registered as a trademark color and used extensively in his works. This vibrant blue, which he developed in collaboration with a chemist, represented more than just a color; it was a means of evoking the immateriality and boundlessness of space. His monochrome blue canvases, large-scale public performances, and pioneering works in performance art established him as a leading figure in the Nouveau Réalisme movement in post-war Europe.
Aside from his famous blue monochromes, Klein’s Anthropometries series, where he used nude women as 'living brushes' to transfer blue paint onto canvases, is another testament to his innovative artistic methods. These performances, often accompanied by a small orchestra playing his "Monotone Symphony" — a single, continuous note played for twenty minutes followed by twenty minutes of silence — challenged traditional perceptions of the artist's role and the creation process.

Olga de Amaral is a Colombian textile and visual artist known for her large-scale abstract works made with fibers and covered in gold and/or silver leaf. Because of her ability to reconcile local concerns with international developments, de Amaral became one of the few artists from South America to become internationally known for her work in fiber during the 1960s and ‘70s. She is also considered an important practitioner in the development of postwar Latin American Abstraction. She currently lives and works in Bogotá, Colombia.
