In 1945, People's Artist of the USSR Tamara Fedorovna Makarova starred in the film (movie-tale) directed by Alexander Ptushko "Stone Flower". She played the role of the Mistress of the Copper Mountain. In the same year, "Stone Flower" won the jury prize at the Cannes International Film Festival.
Earlier form: maximum portrait resemblance to Tamara Makarova, who served as a model for this sculpture. Later editions are smaller, easier to paint.
The history of the Dulevo porcelain factory begins in 1832, when Terenty Kuznetsov founded a factory in the Dulyovo heath. During the first twenty years of operation, the Dulevo factory became one of the leading porcelain producers in Russia.
In 1864 Matvey Kuznetsov became the manager of the plant and put a lot of effort into the development of the plant to expand the range. At different times, the best artists were involved to decorate the sets. At one time M.A. Vrubel, and in 1902 the Dulevo plant was included in the honorary list of suppliers to His Majesty's court.
After the revolution of 1917, the plant was nationalized. During the Soviet period, the plant also expanded, automatic lines were added, and there was a time when the company employed up to 6.5 thousand people.
In 1991 the plant was privatized, and in 2012 it was on the verge of bankruptcy and shutdown, after which it was sold to Russian businessmen. The enterprise was reconstructed and continues to work successfully today.
