THE CUPS MAKER'S MARK RS IN A SHIELD SHAPED PUNCH, LONDON, 1649, THE FLAGONS AND PATENS MARK OF WILLIAM DARKER, LONDON, 1726
Comprising:
Three communion cups of plain form, on broad trumpet foot, with deep slightly flaring bowl, the bases engraved St. Martins in-the-Fieldes Aprill ye 6th Anno 1650, each with scratch weight and numbered 5, 6 and 7 respectively, fully marked near upper rims, the bases struck with lion passant
Three patens each with molded rim and raised on trumpet foot, the underside of bases engraved St Martins in the Fields Octbr ye 26 : 1726, each with scratch weight and numbered 5, 6 and 7 respectively, fully marked on surfaces
Two flagons of tapered cylindrical form on domed bases, scroll handles with baluster drop, underside of base rims engraved Mrs Eliz Enderson to St. Martins in the Fields 1649 New Wrought Oct 20. 1726. Walter Turner William House Church Warden, both with scratch weight and numbered 2 and 3 respectively, fully marked near upper rim right of handle, flange of cover with maker's mark and lion passant, handle with maker's mark
