Oval on four bud feet, the pierced sides applied with folded acanthus leaves and ribbon-tied oval cartouches, the basket with two applied ram's mask and drop ring handles and with pierced Vitruvian scroll rim, engraved with a coat-of-arms and a crest, with gilt copper liner, marked to underside of basket and of stand, engraved with scratchweights: 45:9 on stand and 47:3 on basket

The arms are those of Linton impaling Trollope for John Linton (1751-1834) of Freiston Priory, co. Lincoln and his wife Isabella (1762-1842), daughter of Thomas Middleton Trollope, whom he married in 1790.
