Mounting [koshirae]: Red lacquer scabbard, the tsuka decorated with hirumaki (banded) in red lacquer, metal fittings, oval tsuba in black lacquer, 214 cm.
The mounting accompanied by a Juyo tosogu certificate (Important sword fittings) issued by the Nihon Bijutsu Token Hozon Kyokai (Society for the Preservation ofthe Japanese Art Sword), dated 6 November 2018
