My name is Mary Romanova, I’m an Artist from Russia. I was born on May 17, 1986. As a child, I drew always and everywhere, on any surface - at home on tables, wallpaper, doors, in the entrance on the walls, even on the ceiling! I've always liked big sizes, bright colors, and bold images.
In 2003, I successfully graduated from College with a degree in design and from the Fine Arts School in Izhevsk. I continued to improve, get new knowledge and skills. So with honors, I graduated from the state Academy of Culture and Arts in Samara in 2008.
In 2009, I successfully graduated from Samara State Socio-Pedagogical University, Department of Transcultural Communications.
I specialize in interior art, working in various techniques via modern trends, exploring materials possibilities, and different approaches to painting.
I represent the most daring and relevant solutions for decorating your home walls. Abstract paintings are universal, and this is their main advantage over other styles. A large degree of artistic freedom and the absence of stylistic frames allows my artwork to fit into any interior. I prefer to work with acrylic and texture paste.
I sincerely believe that the need for beauty and creativity that embodies it, the ability to find the unusual in everyday life is the essence of human nature, the secret of harmony, and the emotional balance of the individual. In my artworks, I share how I see our world. Here I can allow myself to be completely honest.
I’m inspired by beautiful sunsets, the azure sea, travel to new lands, and of course my lovely family. Fitness gives me power and energy.
I opened an Art Studio "MARY ART ROOM" in the summer of 2019. My paintings adorn the home interiors of collectors around the world, create a pleasant atmosphere in company offices, place bright accents in the halls of cafes and restaurants, and are part of hotels interior decor.

I feel my self so liberated when creating art. First, because I can produce something that is influence on human’s mood or state of mind, and second because I can escape this reality. And I like this feeling.
My paintings have been sold for years to offices, shops and private residences in Canada, Australia, USA, Europe etc. Up until now in 18 countries.

Убедиться в особенности своих ощущений автору выпал шанс довольно рано: его школьная группа, «Мануфактура», стала победителем первого Ленинградского Рок-фестиваля, после чего он 10 лет играл в составе «АукцЫона»
Оказавшись в Канаде в 2001 г. ДМ полностью отдался миру живописи. 10 лет жизни в Сев. Америке оформили его как профессионала в области изобразительного искусства, заставили говорить о нем в мире галерейного бизнеса. За это время Более 240 работ ДМ были куплены частными коллекционерами и музеями Америки, Европы и Японии.
В настоящий момент Дмитрий Матковский живет в СПб и продолжает заниматься живописью, 3D анимацией, дизайном, музыкой, йогой, а также публицистическим творчеством.

Olga Malamud-Pavlovich is originally from Russia and now lives in Brooklyn, New York. She was a professor of Chemistry at one of the famous Universities of Russia. She has begun studying art since childhood.
She continued her journey through the art world after coming to the USA five years ago. In New York she has studied some years with Frederick Wong at the Art Students League and has taken a number of workshops with other esteemed painters.
Olga’s paintings have been displayed at numerous group exhibitions in local galleries and business offices in Brooklyn and Manhattan, at the Art Students League of New York. Her paintings are also in private collections in Russia, Belgium and the USA.
She works with watercolor and acrylic, mixed media on paper and canvas. Among her creations, there are floral and landscape paintings in different season, seascapes in impressionism and abstract style.

Adolf Schreyer war ein deutscher Maler der zweiten Hälfte des 19. Jahrhunderts. Er ist als Orientalist, Landschafts-, Schlachten- und Tiermaler bekannt und ein Vertreter der Düsseldorfer Schule der Kunst.
Schreyer diente in der österreichischen Armee und nahm während des Krimkrieges an einer Militärexpedition in die Walachei teil. Schreyer reiste auch nach Ägypten, Syrien und Algerien, wo er zahlreiche orientalistische Gemälde sowie Bilder von Pferden mit Reitern malte. Seine Gemälde von Schlachtenszenen, einschließlich der Ereignisse des Krimfeldzugs, sowie seine Genrebilder und Landschaften zeichnen sich durch lebhafte Farben, kräftige Bewegung und Dramatik aus.

Biography - Maka Kvartskhava was born in 1981, Tbilisi - capital of Georgia.
Before starting Painting She was writing short stories, assays, which she used to call "footprints of my inner life and my dreams".
Then came time when her inspirations took her at the edge of Art and her inner opportunity knocked from inside, so she decided to build a door and to take her first steps in colorful world of Art.
So Artist's assays and stories became expressed in drawings and paintings and still she calls her paintings a kind of short stories about her and emotions that surrounds and that are inspired inner and outer world of life.
Artist with the inevitable influences of the creative movements that she develops with her own style.
Graduated from the State University of International law and relations and after few years of working in this field she realized, - Her home is where her heART is.

For Maka Stillwhite Art is inner and outer therapy, which helps her to look through our being and by the help of God it's a tool to search inside and discover the source of complete freedom, peace and hope.
It s very appreciated that her artworks may become the source of inspiration and positive emotions for other people, though her main massage lies beyond this and is directed to each person's inner treasure - Soul, as the main victory expects us in the point where besides weakness or healthiness of our body, heart is filled with love, mind filled up with hope and spirit with peace.

I work in oil in various genres of landscape, figurative and portrait as well as still life.
Since 2005, I am a member of Union of the Artists (Russia).
1981 to 1985 – I studied in the Bryansk Art College.
1994 – I graduated Saint Petersburg State Repin Academic Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture.
I live in St. Petersburg.
I am a participant of numerous personal and group exhibitions in Russia and Ukraine.

Since 2012 - Member of National Unity of Georgian Artists.Born in 1970, September 7th I was raised in Gori, Georgia. My passion for drawing since childhood has turned into a search path for my whole life. The basics of professionalism were given to me by studying at the M. Tuganov Professional Art School (1984-1984), now occupied by the territory of Georgia, in the city of Tskhinvali (South Ossetian Autonomous Republic). I have been painting professionally for over 30 years. After graduating from college, which also taught me culture, discipline and a certain technique, it was difficult to get out of the technique of academic drawing. This haunted me in my life for another 11 years. All this time I was in shackles, limiting the freedom of my thoughts and creative direction. All this was influenced by the war in South Ossetia, in Abkhazia, which for many centuries of Georgia's existence was a single land for all nations living on the territory of Georgia as one single family.
Trying the technique of drawing in different ways and colors, I managed to free myself from the shackles, radically changing my thinking, method and style of drawing. In 2017, in the composition of some of my paintings on canvas, I added different varieties of wine and watercolors as a background for transparency, quartz sand to obtain a grainy texture, followed by finishing with acrylics. ... Horizontal, vertical lines, roundness and perspective sometimes complement some of my paintings. My paintings are like a calendar of my mood, dreams, feelings, a passion to break free for light, for freedom, which can be seen in the creative process of each of my subsequent paintings. Silently expressing on the canvas step by step what I could not just say in words, thereby leaving the opportunity for any visitor to easily read the meaning of the picture, even with mixed technique and style. I was born and live in Russia, in the city of Samara.
From time to time in different years of his life he drew pictures and cartoons. I have been doing oil painting since 1998. He painted pictures for several years. Then there was a break.
For the last few years I have been doing oil and acrylic paintings on canvas and hardboard. I like this activity. Many works have been sold and donated. So I decided to participate on the VIL site.
