Galina Gavrilovna Azgur (nee Gorelov) was born in the village of Pokrovskoe, Moscow region in 1921 in the family of the painter Gavril Nikitich Gorelov, who began to teach her painting. Sister artists Yu. G. Gorelov and R. G. Gorelova. br>
At the Moscow art school she went to consolidate his father's skills and to develop the technique of drawing and painting. br>
Studied under the famous landscape painter Vasily Nikolaevich baksheeva. br>
In 1942, Galina Gavrilovna finishes Art school. br>
In 1945, she becomes the wife of the prominent Belarusian sculptor Zaire Isaakovich Azgur and moved to Belarus. br>
In 1946, enters into the Belarusian Union of artists, exhibition activity began in 1947. br>
Lived in Minsk.
Worked in easel painting in the field of lyrical landscape.
