Belonovich, Joseph I. (1920-1998)

Born may 9 in Minsk.

Professional education:

1941 – the Perm art College.

1959 – the Belarusian theatre and art Institute. Studied with V. Volkov, A. Mazalova, V. Zwirki.

Since 1949 – the participant of Republican and all-Union art exhibitions.

From 1941 to 1945 – the participant of the great Patriotic war, awarded military orders and medals.

Since 1962 – member of the artists Union of the USSR.

He lived in Minsk, worked in easel painting in the genres of landscape, portrait, thematic painting.

Works are in National art Museum of Belarus, Museum of Modern art RB, museums regional cities of Belarus, funds of BUA, in private collections at home and abroad.
