Porcelain plaque Portrait of an equestrian monarch. Goes back to the iconography of the portrait of Peter the Great, painted by Johann Gottfried Tannauer, with a sword, a cocked hat and a blue cavalry uniform, with a gold ribbon and an order. The heraldic symbol on a horses harness is of European origin. Fine hand painting on porcelain in the spirit of Rococo romance. Signed Peter 1. Große and number 107 on the back of the plate. Plate dimensions: 13x9 cm.
