Porcelain figure Snake Tamer. Hallmark of the manufacturer Sitzendorf. The Sitzendorf porcelain manufactory was founded in 1760 by Georg Heinrich Macheleidt. In 1858, the plant was rebuilt and started operating under the leadership of the Voight brothers. In fact, the mass production of figurines began in the city of Sitzendorf only in 1884.
