Felix F. gumen – the artist whose work is familiar and close many, many fans of the genre watercolors, he firmly holds a place of honor among the best. As an outstanding and extraordinary personality, the artist attracts the attention of people of different personalities and worldviews. Felix gumen not only gives people their creativity, it teaches the attitude to art and life in General.
F. F. gumen was born on 28 March 1941 in the village of Koltsovo Komarkova district of the Amur region, the far East, in a military family. Childhood and youth were spent in frequent crossings of the father. In 1958, F. gumen Entered the study on art-graphic faculty of Vitebsk pedagogical Institute, he was the first in the Soviet Union, whose thesis project was a watercolor. As a result of this brave act all graduates from art-graphic faculty Union got the opportunity to write and defend their theses in the technique, which they like.

After graduation, F. gumen worked for several years as a teacher in schools Liozno and Polotsk areas. He taught at the Vitebsk pedagogical Institute. He raised a whole galaxy of artists in Vitebsk. Many of today's recognized artists call him my teacher.

From 1967 to 2006 she was a member of the artists Union (seceded from the Union on their own).

Since 1972 she has had over 20 solo exhibitions. Operation Felix Fedorovich Humana marked with an Honorary sign of the Ministry of culture of the Republic of Belarus, the medal for merit in the fine arts, the city award “Constellation of the muses” and numerous certificates.

Works by F. F. Gumina are in the National art Museum of Belarus, funds of the Belarusian Union of artists, the Museum of modern fine art in Minsk, Vitebsk regional local lore Museum, Mogilev regional art Museum named after P. Maslennikov, as well as private collections in Belarus and the world.
