Icon of Our Lady of Kazan, created in the mid-19th century. The image is made in the traditions of the Russian icon painting school, using gesso, tempera paints and gilding. The faces of the Mother of God and the Christ Child are painted with special spirituality, emphasizing their divine origin and grace. The background is covered with gold leaf, creating a shining effect characteristic of canonical Russian icons. The outer icon case is decorated with lacquer polychromy, protecting the icon and emphasizing its artistic value. Dimensions: Height: 33 cm. Width: 28 cm.
