The inscriptions are executed in traditional Church Slavonic: “IC XC”, “Son of God”, “MP ΘY”, all rendered in raised relief within ornate framing.The ornamental border is filled with grapevine motifs—clusters and leaves—set against a rich blue cloisonné enamel background, symbolizing Resurrection and the Eucharist.
