Obverse: profile portrait of Emperor Alexander III with the circular inscription: “BY THE GRACE OF GOD ALEXANDER III EMPEROR AND AUTOCRAT OF ALL RUSSIA.” Reverse: Imperial Russian coat of arms — a double-headed eagle with crowns, scepter, and orb, with the inscription “5 RUBLES 1889” beneath.Struck in .900 gold with a reeded edge and typical relief for the late 19th century.InscriptionsPortrait of Alexander III, circular legend, double-headed eagle, denomination “5 RUBLЕS”, date “1889”, and mintmark beneath the eagles talons.DimensionsDiameter: 22.5 mm, Thickness: approx. 1.3 mmWeightWeight: 6.45 g, Pure gold content (900/1000): 5.8 gConditionGood, with light circulation marks.
