Excellent game chess table in Boulle style in ebony, with original end arrangement of drawers and picturesque brass overlays on a green and brown background, made using the marquetry technique. Mounted on cabriole legs, with rocaille bronze overlays emphasizing the curves. Decorated with a twisted bronze belt around the perimeter of the tabletop and acanthus edging around the playing field, where the fields are made of bone and tortoise shell.
