Rare and large Russian Art Nouveau spherical porcelain vase decorated with flowing red, blue, cream and purple glaze, on a high rim. Green underglaze mark of the Imperial Porcelain Factory. H II 1910. Made for the Russian Tsar Nicholas II (1894-1917). H-30 cm. A similar vase is illustrated by: T. N. Nosovich and Yu. P. Popova, State Porcelain Factory 1904-1944, St. 92. This vase was intended for Tsar Nicholas II and since 1907 was kept in the Peterhof Palace.
