Valerian K. was born in Zhlobin of Gomel region (Belarus). In 1939 he graduated from the Vitebsk art school, where her teachers were I. O. Akhremchik, V. J. Khrustalev. From 1939 to 1951 he worked as a decorator at the State theatre of Opera and ballet Byelorussian SSR. Since 1946, participated in all-Union, Republican and foreign exhibitions. In 1999 she held her solo exhibition dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the artist.
His works are stored in funds of the Belarusian Union of artists, the National art Museum of Belarus, Museum of modern art in Minsk. Many of the paintings Valerian Konstantinovna today are in private collections of Belarus, Poland, Romania, Italy, England, USA, Japan, etc.
The main directions of creativity of Valerian Konstantinovna was still life, landscape, portrait. She also worked in the field of thematic paintings, of domestic genre. The works of Valerian Konstantinovna peculiar calm, clarity of plot, a rich palette of colors.
In 1949 Zholtok V. K. became a member of the artists Union of the BSSR. He was honored art worker of the Republic of Belarus. In 1955 he was awarded the order "badge of honor" in 1967 – the medal VDNH USSR.
