2 ivory netsuke. JAPAN, Meiji period (1868-1912): 1.) Depiction of a rat sitting on a rice sack, not noticing that a snake is peeking out from under it, h. 4,5 cm. 2.) Depiction of a toad and a ghost in the form of a toad-mixed creature on a closed lily pad, which, as if to shake hands, pass each other's forelegs H. 4,5 cm.
