Porcelain with underglaze blue painting. China, Kangxi Period (1662-1722)

Tall square-cut vase, the wall slightly tapering towards the foot. On each side, a finely painted scene in rectangular cartouches, framed by a thin double-line. On the shoulder four auspicious Buddhist symbols. The tall neck with projecting rim with a delicate ‘bamboo’ painting. Unglazed base with a recessed and glazed square with six-character Kangxi mark.

Dimensions: 49,5 cm (height), 15,5 cm (width of the shoulder), 14 cm (diameter of the mouth)
Condition: Overall good condition, traces of age and use, wear to the edges
