MOVEMENT: with latches to the dial plate and with movement plates joined by five latched vase-shaped pillars, twin gut fusées, reconverted verge escapement, pierced numbered countwheel to backplate operating two hammers on two bells, the backplate engraved with flower-heads and foliage within a line border, signed in an arc 'Joseph Knibb, Londini, Fecit'
