The ovoid ceramic body applied with a frit ground to the exterior, on spreading foot applied with silver stiff foliage mount, applied at the lip with a narrow band engraved with birds, squirrels and hares pursued by hounds amongst foliage; the tubular scroll handle engraved on sides with panels of foliage amid strapwork, and at the shoulder with a winged caryatid, the hinged domed cover with cast bifurcated scroll thumbpiece, engraved with a band of satyr heads amid scrolling foliage centered by a scene of Venus rising from the waves, the interior of the cover with maker's mark

The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
