Oval and slightly everted, the gold sides chased with rabbit, fox, peacock and birds in landscape, the cover and base with piqué decoration depicting on the cover three figures of the Commedia dell'arte, Harlequin in diamond patterned costume carrying a club, Pulcinella hunchbacked with a large stomach and a pointy hat and Pierrot, all dancing on a checkboard floor within a scrolling foliate cartouche, the base panel with piqué butterfly, the inside of the cover lined with gold and set with a miniature on ivory of a lady in pale yellow dress and blue coat, apparently unmarked

Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
