In the Rococo style, of baluster oval section on spreading foot, the body embossed and chased with reserves framed by scrolls and framing two gardeners arranging flowers with a hedgehog hiding in a scroll, on matted ground, the collar finely chased with shells, grotesque mask, flowers and a dog seeming to emerge from the shell, the detachable cap shaped as a squirrel on rock holding the chain in his mouth, the chalcedony matrix carved with an open birdcage and bird sitting on top, and inscription J'AIME LA LIBERTE, apparently unmarked, in later fitted green case stamped 'D.S Lavender'
