SECOND HALF 19TH CENTURY, IN THE MANNER OF ANDRE-CHARLES BOULLE
The baluster shaft carved with trellis, strapwork, bead-and-reel and foliage, supporting an urn carved to the collar with female masks issuing acanthus-carved S-scroll branches with lozenge-shaped terminals and gadrooned drip-pans, terminating in a berried acanthus boss, fitted for electricity
30 in. (76 cm.) high, approx.; 40 ½ in. (103 cm.) diameter

Previously hung in the salon of the Paris residence of the parents of the present owner, from at least the mid-20th century; and by descent.
