The waisted case on a conforming bracket and surmounted by a vase issuing porcelain flowers, white-enameled and richly gilt overall with hunting cartouches and trailing flowers, mounted with ormolu rocailles and further applied with fleurs de lys, the dial with Roman and Arabic numerals spaced by small fleurs-de-lys, the interior and reverse of the case with blue painting, apparently original, now with some flaking and losses, the front bulrush plaque associated, signed and dated Martiniere, Emailleur et Pensionnaire du Roy, 1751, the front of the bracket signed Martiniere, fecit. 1751., the interior of the vase signed A N Martiniere A. 23 ... l ... 1751 ...Du Roy, the reverse of the movement signed Filleul a Versailles
