THE DIAL SIGNED BOUCHET, THE PLINTH ENGRAVED HAURE, CIRCA 1775

With circular white enamel dial with Roman and Arabic chapters and serpentine date hand, signed 'Bouchet / HGER. du Roi' set within a fluted marble column flanked by a figure of Father Time and two putti, the column's base incised with the names of famed writers, all on rectangular plinth atop ormolu toupie feet
