CIRCA 1785

The Serpentina verde di Polcevera marble top above an egg-and-dart moulding on a frieze carved with scrolling foliate motifs centred on the long sides by a rosette and on the short sides by an acanthus frond, the stop-fluted tapering legs headed by Ionic capitals beneath rosettes, joined by an X-shaped stretcher decorated with entrelac and centred by a classical urn hung with floral swags, on foliate toupie feet, the urn to the stretcher possibly associated, refreshments to the decoration
