NORTHWEST CHINA, 2ND MILLENNIUM BC

All three flat, arc-shaped sections are cut from the same piece of jade and each has a small conical hole drilled at each end in order for the three sections to be attached to each other. The stone is of tangyu (sugar jade) type and is of white color altered to brown and opaque buff at the ends.
