1763, BLUE INTERLACED L MARKS ENCLOSING DATE LETTER K FOR 1763, PAINTER'S MARK K FOR CHARLES-NICOLAS DODIN

Each of baluster-shaped square section on a square base, the upper part with a circular collar holding a fitted drum-shaped pierced bulb-holder, painted by Charles-Nicolas Dodin with a chinoiserie scene of figures in landscape within a gilt-edged shaped rectangular panel, the reverse and sides with a panel of stylised flowers, fruit and bamboo branches, the bleu nouveau ground enriched with circles of gilt dots, gilt-edged rims
